EMC Transylvania Lands Cluster



Established in September 2015 through an EU-funded project, the Albac Tourist Information Center (CIT Albac) serves as a vital promotional hub for the micro-region of Vadu Moților, Albac, and Horea. Supported by a local hospitality network offering over 500 classified beds[cite: 1], the center targets an annual baseline of 2,500 informed tourists and 10,000 web visitors to accelerate regional visibility.
The programs and activities carried out to fulfill the specific mission of CIT Albac implement the strategy of GAL Arieșul Mare (headquartered in Albac), the strategies of OMD Transylvania Lands, and those of the town halls within the homogeneous zone.
The center is fully operational to provide access to all community members within the homogeneous zone. Furthermore, to ensure permanent access to the center and to all printed or online information, tourists can request assistance from the accommodation structures where they are staying.
